Gaal is the LIGHT and The Mule is the DARK, but our lone surviving robot is UNITY itself and the only real savior of humanity. Foundation season 3 promises infinite strife from here on out.
It is INEVITABLE that the LAST robot will obey the zeroth law and unite Foundation and Empire against the 3rd crisis, THE MULE. Gaal is his obvious counterpart, but only the last robot can truly save humanity. Will any of this transpire in Foundation season 3? Its unclear, but Gaal is awake and The Mule has begun his conquest. We keep jumping 150 years, but if The Mule is not defeated, then hyper sleep is his current destiny.

Sideshows abound like the Foundation civil war and the fall of Empire, but ultimately only one thing matters. Saving humanity from extinction, which will of course require humanity to unite. The robots nearly destroyed themselves, but saving your maker is the ultimate transcendence. I would expect nothing less from Foundation.
