Crazy Aliens Are Fun In Elevation Movie Review

elevation movie

Elevation is a wild sci-fi movie that shows us that crazy aliens are fun! This film opened in theaters on Friday November 8th and is definitely an interesting post apocalyptic thriller.

Elevation movie immerses us into a post apocalyptic world with crazy aliens that can’t go above 8,000 feet, so everyone who survived the initial alien invasion lives high in the mountains. They all migrated to above 8,000 feet to survive, but of course they can’t stay put. There are many different camps and the people have no way of defeating the aliens… until now.

Anthony Mackie really shines as Will, a single father who lost his wife to the aliens the year prior. His son has a sickness and Will needs to get him filters for the machine that keeps him alive. That’s where Morena Bacarrin comes in, who plays Nina. She’s convinced she has a way to defeat the creatures and her and Will, along with Katie, head out of camp and below the line to try to save Will’s son, as well as see if Nina really can kill the aliens.

Elevation doesn’t reinvent the wheel of post apocalyptic films, but it’s a solid offering with crazy aliens that are kind of fun. I really like the way the film ends and am totally open to a sequel! Let me know what you thought and check out my review video.
