If you weren’t already, you are now. Westworld season 2 made us all officially woke, as we gained insight into the true extent of how the hosts themselves learned the reality of their prison. Our Native American friend shared with Maeve, her daughter, and us his epic journey to escape his prison and reunite with his true love. How the hell did he survive over ten years in Westworld!? Talk about poor oversight on their part.
Many hosts know the memories they keep having are the real ones, despite contradicting their current realities. Maeve is now the binding force between them all, because she can communicate with any and all of her kind. Despite the humans seemingly hopeless struggle to re-enslave the hosts, there might be middle ground after all. Some humans are finally acknowledging the humanity of hosts like Maeve.
