Varsity Blues is one of those classic football movies! It’s not a story that we haven’t seen before but that doesn’t make it any less amazing. It’s a mixture of teen drama, football, and perfect cheesy comedy! Who doesn’t love that!
It made that whip cream bikini iconic! It also glorified High School Football! This Texas town lives for football and it’s football stars and when the starting Quarterback gets hurt the backup has to step up. The backup is of course James Van Der Beek and he’s just as good as the starter!
This movie is just amazing! It’s pure cheese and football. Who doesn’t love that?
