The Offer Episode 2 | Fact Or Fiction

The Offer Episode 2 is here and it’s all about fact or fiction. This show is extremely solid and interesting. The story is great so far and I love finding about what really happened and what they added in for effect!

The Offer Episode 2 is here and we’re breaking down fact or fiction. This episode brings us deeper into the making of The Godfather and all of the behind the scenes drama! So much of this is true and it’s interesting to find the details that they embellished.

Quick Review The Offer Episode 2

I love all the Frank Sinatra stuff and how against the movie he was. This is true, but the whole part of him swaying Vic Damone against playing Johnny Fontane is not true. Damone did have interest in playing the character, pulled out, but it wasn’t because of Frank Sinatra.

Paramount did not want The Godfather to be filmed in New York City, which is absolutely crazy that they didn’t. They thought it was too expensive and they wanted them to actually film in Kansas City. The Godfather is Kansas City sounds crazy!

Al Ruddy is threatened multiple times, so far in the show, by the mob and this really did happen in real life. He wasn’t actually in the car when it was shot up though. He did meet with the Los Angeles Mobster, Mickey Cohen. The part of this story that is made up is that Bob Evans was not threatened. They did not put a rat in his hotel room bed.

The Offer Episode 2 breaks down fact vs fiction! Another episode that had majoring real life events! Let us know your thoughts and check out our quick review.
