Time travel. With all of the crazy unexplained phenomena in The Nevers season 1, this just fits. Mrs. True, Penance and Sarah/Maladie/Reporter Boyle have fallen into the past. My episode 5 reaction.
Is Mrs. True a time traveler? She claims to have been “left behind” with some sort of “quest” in The Nevers season 1, but she has serious history with both Penance and Sarah/Maladie/Reporter Boyle. This makes all three of them time travelers! What is their mission? Why was their memory erased and who or what is inside the pulsing blue orb? Watch our full reaction video for every detail.
Time travel feels far fetched, but that only makes it more plausible! All of the Touched have their place in 1899 London except three people. We don’t truly understand their abilities and no one can relate to who they claim to be. Maladie, Mrs. True and Penance are equally mysterious and The Nevers season 1 has an enormous secret. How can Penance keep inventing electronic devices that are completely foreign to her time? Mrs. True is like a trained assassin and Maladie is a spy like no other. Time travel.

You better start looking over your shoulder, because your neighbor may be touched. Have they been acting weird or exhibiting non-human super powers? Definitely “touched.” This is what will make The Nevers season 1 so much fun. Anyone in London can have abilities, or simply be a giant. Look carefully, because anyone may be touched.
