The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 Ep10 concluded the season with the best death ever! It is no surprise to anyone that this happened. Now June truly gains revenge and a clear cut path to the ultimate demise of Gilead.

 

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 Ep10, “Wilderness,” contained the best death ever. Finally, June enacted huge revenge and put some legit fear into someone who truly wronged her. She definitely regained that Offred side of her she missed! Make sure you watch our full reaction video.

BEWARE OF SPOILERS

Since June escaped from Gilead, all she wants is revenge. June wants the people who wronged her to feel the pain she felt specifically The Waterfords. Once June reaches Canada and knows Fred and Serena are there, she only has eyes set to destroy them. This of course creates a lot of social adjusting problems for June.

June can’t let Fred be free. She does not want to accept that Canada/US can exchange his freedom for his information. Fred wronged so many women and he had a huge hand in creating Gilead as well as its sadistic punishments. Even though he had moments of being nice to June, she always was his captor.

The craziest part is that Fred thought June actually enjoyed their relationship. Fred demanded June spend time with him and have the affair. Of course she went along with it. He actually thought June enjoyed those nights at Jezebel. Never did he think that she was just acting and almost always she used her trip to Jezebel to find out information and or meet someone else.

Fred tries to act like he is sorry for the way he treated June in Gilead when June comes to see him, but he’s still has the delusions of their relationship. Fred still thinks that June enjoyed that part of their relationship. Just because she played the part, does not mean she enjoyed it.

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 Ep10 finale is extremely satisfying. June crossed a line though and now it appears she sacrificed her relationship with Luke as well as Nicole. I still think Luke, as well as Moira, should be more sympathetic to June’s need for revenge. June lived 7 years in Gilead just clawing at everything to stay alive. They don’t seem to fully understand what she went through!

June has now enacted revenge on one of the many people who wronged her in Gilead. Season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale will definitely send June down the path to enacting her destruction of Gilead.
