The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 Ep 3 highlights! It’s all about repentance and June finding how she’s useful! By the end, boy does she find it!

The Handmaid’s Tale season 3 ep 3 ‘Useful’ highlights! Most of this episode was definitely about repentance and June finding her place in her new situation.

So far The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 expanded on the rebellion and how so many more people are involved. It’s shown us how deep the Martha’s go and how Commander Lawrence turns a blind eye to his own Martha’s running the network out of his household.

The above has led us to question Commander Lawrence and whether he is good or evil. Whether he is placating these women to give them hope only to squash it at any moment. The latter Lawrence has insinuated.

The repentance factor for June in The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 ep 3 is how she is useful and whether she was actually useful prior to the Gilead. June is humiliated by Commander Lawrence in front of a number of Commanders and then given an excruciating choice from Lawrence later in the episode.

Throughout the entire The Handmaid’s Tale season 3 ep 3 I’m wondering whether Lawrence is good or bad. What are his motives for the things he does and if he’s seeking his own form of repentance.

Episode 3 splices in Serena’s journey, as well as Fred, and some nice moments from Emily readjusting to Canada. For my full highlights check out my video review.

What do you all think of The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 Ep 3? What is Commander Lawrence’s real deal? Is what he saying true or does he have a hidden agenda?
