The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 Ep 11 Recap | Lies Exposed

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 just exposed all and killed the patriarchy. Our episode 11 recap is here, defined by the lies which completely set up the end of the season.

Down with the patriarchy, as all liars were exposed in The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 episode 11. Our recap dives into the lies and the fallout. I wasn’t sure where this episode was going when it started, especially since Commander Lawrence tried to escape Gilead with his wife. You can watch my full video recap here, then comment and share your predictions!

Joseph learns that his clearances have been revoked, which means that The Sons of Jacob, specifically Commander Winslow and Fred, are out to get him. His only option is to help June, which leads him and June to Jezebel’s. June needs to talk to the bartender and see if they can use a cargo plane to get Mrs. Lawrence and the children out. In walks Commander Winslow and things get crazy.

Commander Winslow takes June upstairs to a room and he’s going to have his way with her. At first, June resides herself to just take it, but she changes her mind and kicks Commander Winslow. He then attacks June and they fight… to the death. June stabs him and then smashes his head with a figurine.

A Martha comes in and recognizes June as the one who saved her from going to the Colonies. She helps June get out and cleans up the entire room. No one will ever know what happened to Commander Winslow!

The rest of the episode focuses on Fred and Serena’s road trip to meet the American. This OMG moment is even better than June killing Commander Winslow! I’m super convinced that this was Serena’s plan too!

Watch our full video and let us know what you think about both of these OMG moments! This episode set up the end of the season to go out with a bang!
