The most badass weapon in all the galaxy, destined to rule Mandalor and destroy worlds, is in the hands of Mando. The Darksaber has joined The Book of Boba Fett and Fett’s war with the Pykes. This is episode five.

 

What is a darksaber? The most badass light saber in the galaxy, wielded by The Mandalorian in The Book of Boba Fett episode 5. Mando takes center stage as the current savior of his people, because he has the darksaber. He wins a duel, gets Baby Yoda some sick armor, then constructs a new spaceship. All of this before joining Boba Fett in the war of all wars.

I loved the homage with a complete Mandalorian episode, fully entwining the stories of these shows. The Book of Boba Fett needed Mando for its war and now we know what is to come with Baby Yoda and Tatooine. There’s speculation Boba Fett ends up with the darksaber, but that would mean he defeats Mando.
