Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 7 | Crisis of Faith

Snowpiercer Season 3 Episode 7 is a crisis of faith. Episodes like this are always my least favorite. Sure, Layton needs to come to terms with how he’s behaved and really if he’s leading the train authentically. For me, I’ve been waiting for the Melanie is alive, let’s go get her part!

Snowpiercer season 3 episode 7 is a crisis of faith. I’m always a bit bummed with a 10 episode show that there is always at least 1 or 2 filler style episodes. I’m sure this episode is so much fun for the actors, the writers, and everyone involved to create, but as a viewer it’s a bit tedious. Of course Layton embellished New Eden and we already knew that!

Quick Review Snowpiercer S3 Episode 7

Layton is in a coma most of this episode and everyone around him of course wants him to wake up. In this coma, he’s searching for a way out. He meets his grown daughter and in the end it brings him to where he met Asha. This is apparently where he saw the picture of the tree and came up with the idea of New Eden.

I actually think there is a spot like New Eden because Wilford’s been looking at the maps and last episode he said to Audrey how he thinks they’re on to something. This episode, Wilford jumps on the Melanie is alive train. He thinks that she was actually who they followed at some point. It’s definitely possible that this is the case. I love that he’s the one to truly spearhead this.

There is definitely going to be some awkwardness between Ben, Josie, Melanie, and Layton as they get Melanie back and the Ben and Josie sex comes out. I wasn’t really a fan of that and I think this conflict will be forced.

At this point, they’ve definitely made Layton’s leadership questionable. I don’t know how this is going to work out. Ruth would be a great leader, but I still don’t want there to be a Ruth/Layton battle or people to take sides of one over the other.

Snowpiercer season 3 episode 7 is definitely a filler episode. It does bring us to what the last few episodes of season 3 will be about. The quest to find Melanie! I’m here for that! Let us know your thoughts and check out our quick review.
