Snowpiercer Season 2 Ep4 reaction is here and it’s all about the manipulation! This episode we saw a humanized Mr. Wilford, but also just how he manipulates so many people. Another fabulous episode!

 

It’s no surprise that Mr. Wilford is the master manipulator, but Snowpiercer Season 2 Ep 4, A single Trade, solidifies it. That is what our reaction video truly focuses on. BEWARE OF SPOILERS

The direction of Snowpiercer Season 2 is amazing. Of course in a show like this you need to expand the world or it will get stale. Now we see the depths that Wilford manipulates people. It’s no surprise, but the way they show us is fabulous.

We see the relationship of Wilford and Audrey. Audrey is his muse, but also his concubine. Her former self s high end escort on one of Wilford’s party trains. They have a deep relationship and it’s in that that we see more of this psychosexual suicide relationship. Once again the bathtub, the razor, and how Wilford gets off on that ultimate manipulation.

The backstory with Audrey strengthens the whole show and pairs so nicely with the current scope of this episode. Layton works his own manipulation of Wilford while trying to steer clear of Wilford’s. I’d say for the sake of this episode he was almost successful, BUT let’s not forget Josie!

Wilford is not easily manipulated and while Audrey tries to pull the reigns a bit, a pretty girl isn’t going to sway him from his end goal. There is a reason why Wilford got to where he was, basically almost being the controller of the Apocalypse.
