Down goes Mason, but at least he saved people on the way to jail. No one wins in the season finale of Perry Mason season 2. Only Lydell escaped, but his son is dead so that’s a wash.

 

Talk about pie in your face. Perry heads to jail in order to save one of his clients, while Della ensures our true villain gets a friendly visit from the FBI. Paul must play dirty for the greater good and everything is messy as hell, but at least its over. Once Mason leaves jail, I’m sure Paul will desperately need his help for a new conspiracy. Perry Mason season 2.

There was nothing simple about this murder mystery, because Perry Mason only involves himself in the most twisted and dark crimes. Considering he nearly killed himself already by crashing his motorcycle, it was fitting for our hero to find himself in jail by the end of this adventure. The real question is, will Mason find love, or remain a stoic and sad loner?

Will Paul and Mason survive together, or are they destined to be on opposite sides of every mystery? Season three will hopefully enlighten us. Can Mason change anything in this corrupt version of Los Angeles? Was the real LA better or worse? If things go south, maybe Mason will find a permanent home at his old family farm.
