Netflix Christmas Movies 2018 are here and we’ve watched them all! These are our reviews of the 3 new movies that Netflix was really publicizing! The Christmas Chronicles, The Holiday Calendar, and The Princess Switch. Part of our BuzzChomp movie review series.
Let’s be very clear here, Christmas movies are cheese. We’ve seen some people ripping apart these 3 Netflix Christmas Movies. Seriously? This is silly because let’s face it, Christmas movies are silly and fun. They let you escape from reality and they always have a “moral lesson” and happy ending!

These 3 new Netflix Christmas movies do the same. Dan and Mandi watched all of them and in their video you’ll find Dan’s review of The Christmas Chronicles, followed by Mandi’s review of the other two films. It’s very much a Christmas caper a la Home Alone, but it’s not as good as Home Alone. We’d compare it to a Christmas with The Kranks!
The Holiday Calendar is a favorite of Mandi’s because it is a Hallmark/Lifetime style Christmas movie. We love those movies and watch them all. Plus, we loved Kat Graham in this. The story is super cute!

The final movie is the Princess Switch which is basically a Parent Trap style film, but with identical long lost relatives. One is a princess, the other a baker, and they switch roles! Of course they end up falling in love with the men in each others lives!
