I had no intentions of watching yet another time travel show, but that’s exactly what Loki season 1 is. Yet its kind of amazing and literally the movie ‘Looper’ on steroids. My episode 1 reaction.

 

What happens when an evil Marvel villain god becomes a time traveling detective? This is Loki season 1 in all of its wacky and amazing glory. I was completely caught off guard by what this show is, having avoided all teasers and previews. We are talking about a science fiction time travel show, but with superhero gods. Its literally the movie ‘Looper’ on steroids, which is freaking awesome. Watch our full reaction video for every detail.

I love time travel, but had no intentions of watching another show about jumping through time to save the universe. Loki violated the sacred timeline by escaping the Avengers, at least in this universe. Our Loki teams up with Detective Mobius, played by Owen Wilson, to stop an evil villain who is mass murdering the time cops of the TVA. An even more evil and corrupt Loki who obviously escaped the TVA in his universe and his timeline is this evil villain. Suddenly good Loki will be hunting very evil Loki in Loki season 1. Literally any superhero from the Marvel universe can join this show, meaning I’m super excited for more!

You better start questioning your reality, because apparently the sacred timeline is already written. Does free will exist and is Loki proof that we control our destinies? Unlikely, but Loki versus Loki remains bad ass. This is what makes Loki season 1 so freaking cool. Anyone from the Marvel universe can find their way into the show, because time is inconsequential. Now if only Cable would show up, completing the time travel circle for good.
