We caught up with Jarett Slionski (aka, The Old Ironsides) last month at his gig at the Plaza Cinema and Media Arts Center in Patchogue NY. Jarett plays his own brand of American Music which leans towards punk but has the flavor of whiskey and the feel of the road. It’s a tough life, just like his songs. Rugged, Tough and Strong, Full of longing with stories that will last a lifetime. Strong Guitar Playing (are those 16 gauge strings!?! wow~) and a Powerful Voice. Keep an eye on this guy folks. Oh, and stay tuned to the end of the video as Jarett gives a shout-out to his wife and daughter who are stranded in another country (grab the tissues folks, you’re gonna need ’em)!
