Hocus Pocus 2 movie review is all about how super cute and true to the original this movie is. Hocus Pocus is one of my favorite movies. This movie gave me all the feels that the original gave me.

 

Hocus Pocus 2 movie review is all about how super cute and fun this movie is. I’ll be honest when I heard rumblings of a a sequel to the absolute fabulous Hocus Pocus I wasn’t super excited. Many cult classics try to capitalize on their popularity, but the sequel lacks. I’m looking at you Anchorman 2. Hocus Pocus 2 is just as adorable as the original.

I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews of this film and I’m honestly surprised. Everyone knows the original Hocus Pocus was panned and did poorly at the box office. It gained steam over the years and became a cult classic. I do not think this film deserves the hate it’s getting.

I watched this film with my daughter and we both absolutely loved it. I love the good witches against the evil witches. The new characters were all great. The flashback in the beginning of the film is super funny. Much like the original this film didn’t take itself seriously. It’s pure Halloween fun!
