Without warning the evil has consumed the world of His Dark Materials season 2. Marisa controls the specters which eat our souls, while the angels themselves may not be on humanity’s side. Thankfully, Lyra and Will have powerful witches and one all-powerful weapon on their side. The battle of good versus evil has reached a breaking point, as the ultimate evil slowly reveals its agenda. One red herring, ahem Lord Boreal, was eliminated by an even more power-hungry enemy. Another potential red herring, ahem the Magisterium, is charging head first into a war they are thoroughly unprepared to fight. Good will eventually triumph over evil, but casualties and sacrifice are a given. His Dark Materials season 2 is about to end with a literal bang.

The great thing about His Dark Materials is that its not abiding by traditional rules. Season one pulled from every book in the series, not just the first.
