Lyra’s quest for Dust leads to a curious discovery about Dark Matter in His Dark Materials Season 2 episode 2. The glue that binds all three worlds together is unseen, powerful, and semi-conscious. Dust are the particles that make up Dark Matter and the slivers between worlds are how it flows. Magic comes from the control of dust and Lyra speaks to it with her alethiometer. Lord Boreal remains the biggest mystery of all. What does he know of Dust and Dark Matter in His Dark Materials season 2? Boreal befriends Lyra, but I swear he is the ultimate enemy in this twisted game. Yet what is his agenda and who does he work for? How is Lord Boreal the only one aware of the connection between worlds? He isn’t, so who else holds such power? Lyra is destined to find out.

The great thing about His Dark Materials is that its not abiding by traditional rules. Season one pulled from every book in the series, not just the first.
