War was declared and bombshells dropped in His Dark Materials episode 3. The western king lost his son at the hands of Mrs. Coulter, leaving Lyra scrambling.

 

His Dark Materials episode 3 was a bombshell episode! Not only did they drop all of Lyra’s family history, including the identity of her mother, but a total war cry was issued! The Gyptians declared war on the Magisterium after they invaded their homes because Marisa began wildly wielding her power in an attempt to find Lyra. She is truly testing her abilities with the General Oblation Board and its control of Magisterium resources.

War is upon us in His Dark Materials and its going to include a ton of magic and magical creatures, most of which we have yet to meet. Lyra finally unlocked the AKA Golden Compass and we suffered our first casualty as the son of the Western King was killed by Mrs. Marisa Coulter. War is upon us!
