Wow, so many secrets in His Dark Materials episode 2 which are incredible! Totally making for a deep, dark mystery that could unravel at any moment.

 

His Dark Materials blew up in episode 2 with amazing dirty secrets that leaves me wondering who the hell is actually in power. There are rifts between worlds, one hidden at Oxford, so where are the others? Who else is using them and why? Will Lyra meet another with a Golden Compass? Can the General Oblation Board actually remove daemons from souls? Within each question is a dirty secret that is ever so hard to hide.

The season began with a straightforward introduction, but His Dark Materials immediately amped up the mystery. Lyra’s father was revealed, but what world does her mother come from? The Magisterium claims power, yet has little control over one or two rogue members. Everyone is afraid of dust and magic, but who actually can wield its power? Secrets mean questions and His Dark Materials dumped a shipload.
