Halo the series Episode 3 | Mind Sacrifice

Can Cortana be controlled or defeated? Master Chief did a mind sacrifice to birth this evil AI in Halo The Series, but does he need her? The other Blessed One unleashes worms. Plus, there are two artifacts! Crazy sci-fi ahead in episode 3.

A total mind sacrifice in Halo the series episode 3. Master Chief John sacrifices his mind so that Cortana can be born. She is like part of his brain, but also acts independently and seems like a total wildcard. How do you stop a brain implant? Plus, Dr. Halsey’s clone had her brain melted down to goo to create Cortana. Apparently this is the only way that Master Chief can defeat the Covenant and their own Blessed One. Apparently. Meanwhile, the enemy is unleashing worms upon marines and now there are two artifacts! Halo season 1 is definitely opening up a sci-fi can of worms. Pun intended.

Watch My Reaction to Halo the Series Episode 3

The creepy human living with the ruler of the Covenant is blessed, but why and by whom? Apparently she and Master Chief John are unique in their ability to activate these alien relics. They are Blessed Ones… and possibly related. What do they do and why is this such a mystery to our humans? Plus, the only strong humans are evil humans. No one else can take on the aliens.

By diverging from the video games, Halo the series has opened the story up completely. Our lone survivor Kwan has already stolen Master Chief to the resistance, but the human government needs them because the Covenant is too strong otherwise. Also, cloning.

What parts of the original story have found their way into Halo season 1? Will every episode recreate the video game experience? Share with me your thoughts and make sure you watch our quick review.
