Kwan has some ancient magic up her sleeve. Unleash the sand witches! We got awesome sci-fi backstory in this episode and learn that Kwan is this magic ancient protector. She is responsible for protecting the portal and opening the portal door for Master Chief. Where does it go? Does his Halo connect to this portal across the universe? Soren, Master Chief’s old friend, is supposed to protect Kwan and he circles back to help Kwan destroy Vinsher and liberate her home world in the most badass way possible. But unleash that magic! Halo season 1 in all its glory.

Our evil Blessed One is now with Master Chief, but what is her true motivation? Apparently she and Master Chief John are unique in their ability to activate these alien keystone relics, yet Kwan is now equally as important. Will they ultimately work together, or die as one? They are Blessed Ones… and possibly related. What do they do and why is this such a mystery to our humans? Plus, the only strong humans are evil humans. No one else can take on the aliens.

By diverging from the video games, Halo season 1 has opened the story up completely. Our lone survivor Kwan has already stolen Master Chief to the resistance, but the human government needs them because the Covenant is too strong otherwise. Also, cloning.
