The evolution is complete. It’s a women’s war in Game of Thrones season 7. Will revenge lead to disaster, or can these women reverse the mistakes of the men before them?
Game of Thrones began as a man’s war, with most of our women subservient. But now every major house is being led by a woman into war. Cersei was subservient. Arya, Sansa, and Daenerys were too. Now each is out for blood in their own way. Game of Thrones season 7 is a war of women, being fought by their men. Yet we know the ultimate war, the one in the north, will be a war fought by all men and women alike.
Our series has evolved from a man’s war, to a women’s war, into a war for all humanity. Will our strong women leave Westeros in shambles, or can they hold off the desires for revenge and leave a kingdom worth saving? The Night King cares not for the squabbles of humanity. His undead army is relentless. Bridging the gender gap will allow our heroes to be as well.
Jon Snow is the key to uniting men and women and the seven kingdoms. He alone can end this women’s war, because he is like no other man or woman in Westeros. He too is undead, doing anything and everything to save humanity.
