I always revel in being sore. I remind myself that sore as hell rules and if I’m not sore that it means that I’m not working out enough. Soreness means I’ve done something right and I need to keep doing that.
When I first started working out I know that I had to fight hard to push against soreness. I’ll never forget how I felt when I first started running track. That first week my thighs would be so sore that I lived off of baths and icy hot. In time the extreme soreness would subside, but I always have some soreness.
Even to this day, I’m always some sore of sore and I love it. It’s truly a great feeling and even when I’m over being sore I remind myself that sore as hell rules! It’s my daily fitness motivation to remind myself.
Because that’s what Motivational Monday is all about starting your week off strong.
