Easy and Delicious Homemade Granola Recipe

homemade granola

This easy and delicious homemade granola is great! I love granola, but store bought is full of tons of sugar. Thankfully, it is extremely easy to make your own granola at home, plus you can add your own flair!

Granola is one of my favorite breakfast foods and its very easy to make and super delicious. Unfortunately, store bought granola has so much sugar and always tastes too sweet. I love it, but not like that. Making my own homemade granola lets me choose my sweetness, as well as my favorite nuts and dried fruit. Plus, it’s legit the easiest thing to make.

I love recipes like this one, because you can customize them to be your own. Next time I make this, I will definitely add raisins. I just didn’t have any in the house, but some dried fruit really ties the granola all together. Yet it turned out super delicious just like this, so use what you have in your pantry.

Be sure you check on the granola while it’s cooking in the oven, about halfway through, or after five or six minutes. The edges can get a little over cooked if you don’t stir it early enough. What happens if you forget? Something equally as delicious. The granola gets candied, becoming more like a crunchy dessert.
