Game of Thrones Season 8 Ep 1 Recap and Reaction is here! How about that Creepy Bran? It was an episode of reunions and we’re so glad everyone is reunited that it feels so good!

The first episode of Game of Thrones Season 8 titled “Winterfell” very much a nod to the first episode of the series was all about reunited everyone. Most of the episode took place up in the North, which led to a lot of Creepy Bran!
My first reaction to this episode is that I didn’t need to see any of the Cersei stuff because all I wanted to see was the Starks and Daenerys at Winterfell, but I know we needed to see where Cersei is at. Spoiler ALERT! She’s still a bitch and slept with Euron. She also wants to turn Bronn against Jaime and Tyrion!

The rest of the episode gave us a ton of OMG moments. Jon and Bran reuniting! Jon experiencing the new Creepy Bran aka the Three Eye’d Raven. Bran is no longer himself, but we’re now experiencing his awkwardness around others.
Arya and Jon reunite! FINALLY! I wanted a more dramatic reunion for these two. Arya and Jon were such BFF’s back in the day. I wanted her to call out to him when he rode in with Dany, but she took her sweet time meeting up with him.
We all got some serious sexy vibes between Arya and Gendry! Girl’s got to get hers especially before the Night King makes it to Winterfell! I almost forgot all about this one too.
The dragon ride was AMAZING! Jon and Dany cemented their love even though Sam tries to bring it all down with his bombshell to Jon. Jon reacts the exact way he’s always reacted. Finding out he’s the heir to the Iron Throne does not make him want to be king. No shocker to us, but Sam definitely thinks that him finding out his lineage will break his love for Dany.

Creepy Bran see’s Jaime for the first time since Season 1 at the end of the episode. I didn’t mention this in my video because I was too excited about everything else, but OMG. OMG. OMG.
