5 to 7 Minute Cool Down | Full Body Circuit | BuzzChomp Fitness Review

5 to 7 Minute Cool Down for your Full Body Circuit. It’s part of our BuzzChomp fitness review video series.

No matter how intense your workout is it’s imperative to embrace the cool down. I’ve found that there is no reason to not always do a cool down and especially after an intense workout it will make you feel so much better. Making sure you take care of yourself will help you ward off fatigue and injury.

The best part about the 5 to 7 minute cool down is that these 10 exercises target your fully body nicely. It starts out with an “ab stretch” which is just cobra. I love cobra because it stretches out my back so nicely, but when it described it as an ab stretch I seconded guessed it. When I did it though I could feel it in my abs as well as my back and that’s great that I didn’t originally even think about it like that.

This is a great cool down and I give it a 8/10. You hold everything for 20 seconds which is a perfect number for you to count to in your head. I did find that I definitely counter a little slower because this ended up being closer to a 7 minute cool down. I also suggest holding it for longer than 20 seconds because you’ll get even more benefits out of these 10 stretches.

Stretching is the one part of my exercise routine that I pushing because as we all get older it’s imperative to stretch. I remember even back when I played sports as a child, high school, and college, the coaches always made sure we stretched to warm up and cool down. There is a reason that that was always apart of practice and remembering that is important.

This 5-7 minute cool down session will guide you to make sure you always stretch and this one targets the full body! That is perfect for those days you do intense workouts, long runs, or even if you just need a great full body stretch. Make sure you set aside that time to take care of you prior to finishing your workout.
