We’re on Step 8 of How to be zen in 9 steps! Do one thing at a time. This is one I consistently remind myself of! Part of our BuzzChomp health series.

 

Do one thing at a time. It’s a simple statement, but I’m guilty of not doing it. Especially as I’ve gotten older in life with more responsibilities, I’ve found myself doing more than one thing at a time and having an epic fail.

I’ve been on myself about this one this year. Sometimes it’s just taking that moment and doing one thing. Once you are finished you do your other task. Even if it’s just making a phone call while checking email. It’s so much more efficient to just make the phone call then focus on your emails.

What this step does is slow you down. We rush through so many aspects of our lives. It can make us miss things, have to do redo them or not enjoy as much as our life as we can.

That’s really what being zen helps you do. It helps you enjoy as much as life as you can! We’ve only got one more step left so come back next week.
