There was one man who could save them, but he dead. Avenue 5 episode 1 was on point and truly funny. It may be stupidity, yet its kind of brilliant.

 

When your ship gets knocked off course by a record setting yoga class smashing into the wall due to a gravity flip, there’s only one thing to do. Get Joe to fix it! But Joe’s dead, so Avenue 5 episode 1 veers straight into the wall. Everyone is a phony, a screw up, or just mean. Thankfully they’re trapped in an enclosed space. Is the Avenue 5 simply on auto pilot? Why can’t they steer it back on course? Forget all that! Nothing about this comedy is logical, which makes it even funnier. The captain is a phony, the engineer is dead, and no one on the ship knows how it works. At least they have three years to figure it out.
