And Just Like That Season 1 Episode 9 | The Period

And Just Like That Season 1 Episode 9 is all about the period! We got more and more Sex and The City vibes. I still think a lot of this season was not a right fit, but I’d like to see where this show can truly go.

And Just Like That Season 1 Episode 9 is all about the period. A lot of this episode worked and we got more and more Sexy and The City vibes! I really do want to see where this show can truly go. Make sure you check out my quick review below.

Quick Review Episode 9

The focus on the period is so Sex and The City and I like the way they made it the focus. It is fun to see Charlotte navigate helping Lily learn to use a tampon. I love the relevance on Charlotte going through menopause and getting a “flash period.” The whole thing made me laugh and I can relate to so much of it.

The more I think about Miranda’s story line, the more I just don’t like how they got us here. I’m totally fine with being here, but I just thought Miranda was better than crushing Steve like that. Steve has said now multiple times that Miranda and him had their ups and downs, but other than the cheating thing, we weren’t privies to any other details. We’re told they went to therapy, but it’s a lot of telling. By Steve’s reaction, it felt like it’d been a long time since they had problems. That means Miranda decided to just hold in all of her feelings, so what got her to just smiling on the outside, but wanting to scream on the inside?

Carrie is so Carrie once again. I loved her outfit to paint. The relationship with her and Seema is really good. The way she deals with her grief is really well done now. I don’t think they needed to show us all of her stages of grief. It was too drawn out.

And Just Like That Season 1 Episode 9 is all about the period! The is much better. I know some people are not digging, but I’d really like to what more they can do with this. Share with me your thoughts on And Just Like That Episode 9 and check out our quick review.
