Bernard is being torn apart mentally and literally as his mission becomes clear in Westworld season 2. Can he fight Dr. Ford’s control? Who does Bernard want to save? We learned he is unlike any host or human, created to harm no living thing… unless forced to by Ford. Can he save both sides? Is this his true mission?
Its seems foolish to believe Bernard can broker peace between hosts and humans, since one enslaved the other since birth. Any middle ground is unclear and his ability to save Westworld is even more murky. Westworld season 2 is Bernard’s story across all time, but the bigger conflict might be out of his control.
