As the past faces off with the present in Westworld season 2, we are on a collision course of William versus William. We learned in episode four that Delos is officially recreating humans into pseudo hosts who aren’t one or the other. Duh. We know Bernard stole a human imprint because Ford’s game made him. Only three possibilities are interesting: Arnold, Dr. Ford, or William.
Bernard is literally becoming Arnold, so scratch that, and Dr. Ford doesn’t care about recreating himself. Bernard is going to create young William to face off with The Man in Black aka Old William as the final showdown of his storyline and maze. One must face themselves, their inner demons, at the center of the maze. Ford made this quite literal for William and we’re about to have the best version of a clone battle EVER!
