Game of Thrones Season 7: Stormborn Bloodbath Predictions

A bloodbath is brewing in ‘Stormborn’ and we must choose. Who will die in Game of Thrones season 7? We are playing Game of Thrones Mortality Pool!

Week one of the Game of Thrones mortality pool was a bit underwhelming. Though many died during season seven’s first episode, none of the deaths occurred to main characters. This was probably to be expected. We jumped the gun in our week one picks, selecting too many big names. Do not expect the same mistakes in week two.

Thanks to ‘The Ringer’ we have our Game of Thrones Season 7 Mortality Pool aka Death Pool here at BuzzChomp. As diehard fans of the show, we have our own group, picking who will live and who will die each week in Game of Thrones season 7. Join the mayhem and our pool at the link below. Simply login to ‘The Ringer‘ with your social media account, then re-follow the link to join our pool. The rules are simple. Read on because people are going to die. We must all decide who.

Game of Thrones Season 7 Mortality Pool: The Rules

Join our group for next week’s episode: Bran Sucks Mortality Pool

The game makes you choose five people who will die, ordering them by likelihood. Below are our top three picks, because the world is too big and names can get obscure after that. We all get points based on who dies, and you can only choose a name twice per season. Good Luck.

Todd Salem’s Death Picks

Meera Reed
Hot Pie
Nymeria Sand

Todd Salem: Though I feel confident that the deaths of my week one picks are pending, they probably don’t happen this early. So I am forced to hold off on taking them again, for fear of losing those selections all season. Instead, my week two picks are made up of secondary and tertiary characters.

I threw in some members of the Sands and some other randoms. The biggest name on my board for week two is Meera Reed. Let’s see if she falls now that her biggest task (getting Bran to the wall) is complete.

Dan Salem’s Death Picks

Ed Sheeran
Jorah Mormont
Brienne of Tarth

Mandi Mellen’s Death Picks

Ed Sheeran
Meera Reed
Daenerys Targaryen

Dan Salem: The novelty of having Ed Sheeran guest star on the show comes to a perfect conclusion when he dies at the hands of Arya Stark. Jorah’s death will lead Samwell to Daenerys and ultimately up to the Night King together.

I also believe that this is the story of ice versus fire, meaning a group of undead fire soldiers like in the novels. Brienne dies and continues her destiny as undead, like Jon Snow et al.
