With official confirmation from TV Guide, our naughty boy Dexter will be cutting out for good after Season 8. Dexter my friend, your departure will be bitter sweet. I enjoyed watching you lie and slice your way through life, doing whatever it takes to protect your dark passenger.
But the question that’s on all of our minds…how will you depart? Will you escape to a small café in Paris? Or will you die by the sword in a blaze of glory? Maybe you can do something clever and go out like the Bob Newhart Show? My fear is that your writers will try to resolve all of your past trails and tribulations into a nice little fruit basket and leave a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully you’ll go out with a bang and catch everyone off guard. Make us proud Dexter!
